Thank you for your comments on my article regarding Jung and his night sea journey. Much appreciated. Sophia is indeed an older and truer image of the Holy Spirit. Are you aware of the work of Stephan Hoeller? He is a gnostic, a Jungian and is devoted to Sophia...I think it is safe to say. I have spoken with him and he is rather interesting. He is also the "nephew" (his mother's first cousin and closest friend) of the real Count Almasy who was the basis of the character in the English Patient. Stephan frequently has frequently come to speak in Seattle at the local Lodge of the Theosophical Society (I am a member). Rudolph Steiner is well known at the Lodge! Just two weeks ago today a follower of Steiner gave a talk at the Lodge and the topic was Sophia. (Sadly I missed that one!)
Here is a link to a journey I needed to take for reasons of healing some years ago...a conscious out of body near death journey I was assigned to take by my wise guide Isis. I think you might find this of interest...

I really like the thoughts you share with all of us! Bright Blessings, Isis

Thanks for your follow-up comment regarding French films. The poem you recently published (today?) about love is resting in my thoughts. Good day to you!

Byt the way, I hope for new miracles daily -- it's enough to get me up in the morning, and I hope it works that way for others, too.

John, thank you for your lovely comments, which are splendid poetry indeed! I hope your eyes are well healed by now, and that you are otherwise well heeled, if you're out playing in the rain. Cheers!

John, thank you so much for commenting on my poem! 'Tis merely a trifle. But there may be a few more stashed away for better days. Hoping you are much better, and I am adding my silvery wishes on to Jan's!

John, please go as slowly as you need to with your eyes. As someone who is minus MANY diopters in both eyes, I know how important that is. As my doctor used to say, my eyes are "only for show."
Well, thank you! -- you are most kind, but that was an old poem that I never posted, since I felt it was too light. When I don't get as deep as I want/need to, I always feel as if I'm somehow playing tigers, and letting myself off too easy. I found it when I was scouting through my old love poems, and I told Dean that I would send them to him, since I didn't need them any more. Maybe one day, I'll be prompted by circumstances to write another, but not any time soon. Time to heal, and concentrate on larger themes. They're around here somewhere.... Cheers, John! I miss you when you're not about.

Where are you off to, my friend? You mentioned on Amy's poem that you would be away.
I was recently reading one of the comments you left on a poem of mine, and I must say, your prescience is amazing. Thank you for all.
